ROHS testing is the European Union directive on the use of certain hazardous BAI materials in electrical and electronic equipment (2011/65/EU). The purpose of ROHS report is to limit the use of toxic chemical substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Protection of human health and the environment; Ensure that waste electrical and electronic equipment can be easily restored to the environment during recycling or waste. Compliance with RoHS reports is very challenging for most companies. RoHS reports limit the content of some hazardous substances. As an experienced partner, we can help you test your products for RoHS chemical analysis.

What are the test items reported by RoHS? What is the limit requirement?

According to the EU WEEE&RoHS directive requirements, AOV is to split the product according to the material, with different materials for the detection of harmful substances.
In general:
Metal materials need to be tested for four harmful metal elements such as (Cd, cadmium, Pb, lead, Hg, Hg, Cr6+ hexavalent chromium)
In addition to the four hazardous heavy metal elements, the plastic material should also be tested for brominated flame retardants (POLYbrominated biphenyl ethers (PBB)/Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE))
At the same time, different materials of packaging materials should also be tested for heavy metal packaging materials (94/62/EEC)
