2. Daily necessities
Cosmetics, skin care products, dental care products, deodorants, toiletries, perfume, retail soap and toilet soap.
3. Sanitary products
Floor covering products; tableware and kitchenware; bathtub, hand washing table, toilet; toilet paper, toilet paper; ceramic tile; glass table; military iron ware, stove, frying pan;
4. Electrical products
Air conditioners, fans, washing machines, agitators, water heaters and other household appliances; furniture and office furniture; bicycles, motorcycles and electric vehicles; clocks and watches; household lighting equipment;
5. Infant products
Diapers, children’s toys.
Goeic Registration & COC certification detailed process and required information
According to the latest procedure, the process of obtaining certification for 24 Categories of products exported to Egypt is divided into two steps:
1. To obtain the registration of goeic, the required information is as follows:
Factory license
Trademark registration certificate or power of attorney
ISO system certificate
The other 10 data were made by the center.
2. Complete the inspection and obtain the COC certificate. The required information is as follows:

Introduction to testing
There are no longer 24 products that need to be registered with the Ministry of trade of Egypt;
On December 30, 2015, the Egyptian Ministry of industry and Trade issued a new regulation that manufacturers of 24 kinds of goods exported to Egypt should register with the Egyptian General Administration of import and export control (goeic). The Egyptian customs will not release the products of manufacturers that have not completed the registration.
This means that: Egypt no longer accept CIQ, and in addition to textiles have been included in the scope of control, this new 23 products have also been included in the scope of VOC Control, need to issue COC certificate! The new regulations will come into effect in just two months (March 1, 2016).
Test standard
At the end of 2011, the Egyptian Ministry of industry and trade (mfti) issued two directives, stipulating that textile and leather products must be inspected before each shipment, and obtain the certificate of compliance before entering the Egyptian market. The directive came into force on 1 April 2012.
1. Regulations on Textiles – 626 / 2012, products under control include:
Textile products, including yarns and fabrics used in garments, home textiles, furniture, carpets
Clothing and accessories, such as scarves, handkerchiefs, etc
Printing and dyeing fabrics
Dyed yarn
Home textile products
Carpet and floor mat
Textile bags, wallets, ticket clips, hats, belts, etc
Other textile accessories, such as sewing thread, labels, zippers, elastic belts, buttons, belts, shoulder pads are not within the scope of the law.
