Introduction to testing
The eco design directive for energy consuming products (2009 / 125 / EC) replaced the original EU directive 2005 / 32 / EC in November 2009 and came into force after being approved by the EU. Compliance with the directive will be achieved through the introduction of so-called implementation benchmarks, including minimum energy efficiency performance standards and other mechanisms. The implementation guidelines for each product will come into effect between 2008 and 2009.
In order to meet the compliance of the directive, the requirements of the current CE compliance mark should be considered. The scope of ERP directive includes: design, manufacture, distribution, use, recycling, recycling, heat recovery, disposal and implementation measures
Domestic fluorescent lamps and ballasts (EC / 2009 / 245)
External power supply EC 278 / 2009 power consumption to be shut down EC 1275 / 2008
Simple set top box EC 107 / 2009 TV set EC 642 / 2009
Test standard
The power supply device is implemented in two stages
The first stage will be implemented from July 1, 2007, with grade III requirements (applicable from July 1, 2007 to July 1, 2008)
Nameplate output | Minimum energy efficiency value |
0~1W | 0 . 49* Nameplate rated output |
1~49W | 0 . 09Ln nameplate rated output +0.49 |
≥ 49W | 0.84 |
No-load maximum power consumption
0~10W | 0 . 5W |
10~250W | 0 . 75W |
From July 2008 to January 2008, the second stage is applicable to grade IV:
Nameplate output | Minimum energy efficiency value |
0~1W | 0 . 5* Nameplate rated output |
1~49W | 0 . 09Ln nameplate rated output +0.49 |
≥ 49W | 0.84 |
No-load maximum power consumption
All output | 0 . 5W |
